The giant water balloon launcher

A giant launcher

While you’re relaxing in the motorized pool lounger, you might get an urge to get everyone else wet too, or just amuse yourself (or get back at your nosy neighbour). Launching water balloons at them is the perfect way to do all that. But what if simple water filled balloons are not amusing anymore (or if you have a complete idiot for a neighbour)? Well, that’s simple - SUPERSIZE it!

Even better, this has already been done for you. The 3 Man Giant Water Balloon Launcher seems to be just the thing you need. You actually need 3 people to operate this giant (though you could always use trees or something instead of the two people holding the ends). If you’re really good at it, you should be able to launch your water balloons up to 300 feet.

The launcher comes with a carrying case - perfect for transporting it or carrying extra supply of balloons with you. And guess what? - it’s only 14,95 £ (approx $30) (You can get it from here). A small price to pay for humiliating your neighbour having true quality fun with your friends.

A tip from me - if you’re going to buy this, buy a pair of them - a water balloon battle is one of the simple pleasures of life, but it’s nothing compared to a water balloon battle with some big guns :)

Have your lounger do the paddling

The Motorized Pool Lounger

Summer is hiding around the corner - actually, in my country, it has almost arrived. It’s my favourite season. You have to agree that it is truly great - what could be more enjoyable than relaxing on an inflatable lounger somewhere in the middle of the lake, lazily paddling back and forth, and just absorbing the sun rays? Well, there is something more enjoyable - not having to do the paddling yourself. And that is exactly what The Motorized Pool Lounger does!

This toy, that could make us into even lazier beings than we already are, has two independent propellers or azimuth thrusters, which allow you to swim around, or just spin around like crazy (whatever your reason would be for doing something as stupid as that). Oh, and to make it all better, it’s even got a cup holder! - carry your drinks everywhere with you :).

Each motor requires 6 D batteries - sort of much, but it beats carrying around a charger/adapter for a wall socket.

By the way, there’s an air pump included, so you could have your lounger up and swimming in minutes.

You can get it here for $149.95 - not very cheap, but if you’re lazy - the price is more than acceptable (This shouldn’t be hard to duplicate for any serious DIYer.).

Carry a laser show in your pocket

Pocket light show
There’s nothing to liven up a party like a laser show. A problem with this is the price - it requires lasers and someone to operate them. Seriously not an option if you throw parties at your place at least weekly. However, there is an alternative to getting in debt - a cheap, pocket-sized alternative (Provided that you have fairly big pockets). A mini laser projector.

This little toy can do two types of laser shows - automated (random) or user-controlled - you set the shapes and speeds. of course, a real laser enthusiast could make something a lot more impressive, but if you aren’t one, or your just lazy, this is perfect for amazing your friends (it will require near total darkness to achieve a truly spectacular effect). Due to the automated mode, you can just turn it on and leave it on the table. Also, it runs on 3 AAA batteries, so you won’t need to look for a socket or carry any cords with you.

And on top of all that, this miniature light show is rather inexpensive - just £14.95 (Approx USD $26.91 / €22.13)
You can get it from IWantOneOfThose.
(For reasons unknown to me, it’s not shipped to USA. Sorry, guys and gals)

It’s a shark!!!

An image of a sharkImage of a hammerhead shark
Summer at the ocean. Everyone’s happily relaxing, swimming, socializing, etc. And then, instantly, the mood changes - people start screaming, running out of the water. They shout “SHARK!” - and everyone starts to panic and run for their lives.

The above was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw these great remote controlled sharks. Surely, the idea is stupid and dangerous, and it would land you in a lot of trouble with the local authorities, but it seems funny nonetheless. If you do try that, don’t forget to tell us all about it please don’t say where did you get this idea from.

Stupid ideas aside, these shark still have countless uses for them. They are available in two models:
Shark (can be blue or red)
Hammerhead Shark (illuminated eyes (?))

The sharks need an hour long charge to last 15 minutes. That’s enough to scare the death out of the entire beach. The shark can swim up to 40 feet away from it’s remote, in depths of 9 feet. Also, the remote is submersible, so it shouldn’t be a problem hiding it underwater.

These sharks cost $99.95.
