Say, how are you at getting up early in the morning? Well, most people hate it. They either sleep right through the clock’s alarm, or (like me) tend to awake for a few seconds, turn off the alarm and go back to sleep, and they can’t remember a thing about it when they finally wake up (the only indicator of that is that I find my cellphone (I use it for an alarm clock) clenched in my fist when I wake up). Well, there are some people who don’t bother with that, and they just throw the clock into a wall, without even opening their eyes.

Well, the good thing is that if any of those three types of people has anything that resembles you, this is a gadget for you. It is suitable to be used if you have any one of the above problems (well, in the last case, you might wanna keep the clock within a distance fro your bed). The Sonic Boom alarm clock, while looks like just a relatively stylish clock, is actually capable of emitting a 113dB alarm (to allow you to compare - that’s about the same as standing a meter or two away from a sledgehammer). In case you try to hide under your pillow and ignore it (loosing your hearing is certainly worth those extra minutes of sleep, right?….well, not really), the clock also vibrates. And, as stated on the product page, “There is even a pulsating light display just in case you can ignore the noise” (unless you’re deaf, I don’t see how that’s possible). While the clock uses electricity from a wall socket, it has a battery backup, so don’t worry - a power failure won’t save you from getting woken up the roughest way imaginable.

Oh, and if for some reason you decide not to torment other people, the clock has adjustable volume, so you can turn it down a bit.

Priced at £29.99 (approx. $60) this is a great gadget - perfect value for your money. Even I’m considering getting one of these.

The product page doesn’t offer you the ability to buy anything. It does, however, list all of the models and their estimated prices. You can use google yourself.
